Reiki, a non-invasive technique for relaxation, was developed by Japanese Buddhist, Mikai Usui and is based on the idea of life force energy and the art of channeling it through the body.
Starting with a serene environment and relaxing music playing, your therapist will begin the gentle Reiki technique. Your therapist will place their hands in several positions on or above your body, for a few minutes in each location, starting at your head. After your session, you should leave with a calm more balanced feeling.
